I picked freedom of religion for my topic because I feel that this right is the most important right out of the constitution because I don’t like the idea of having one central religion throughout the country. Freedom of religion is a right you have that allows you to go and talk or perch the religion you believe in. This right can be found in Amendment 1 called the freedoms of religion, speech, press, assembly, and petition. Freedom of religion is important because without this right you can’t believe in whatever God or Gods you want. But with this right you can believe and practice what you want and you don’t have to believe the same thing everyone else believes. Your government does a lot to protect this right but I just listed a couple. The first thing your government does to protect this right is they let us go to what ever church we want. And they don’t establish just some churches with just one religion. So that is some things your government does to protect this right for us.
